Joe Boulos designed and built Gavieli's digital house: the boutique clients shop online, the back office the team runs it from, the till in every salon and the desktop console behind the counter.
Prices follow the live gold market, every piece is counted in the salon that holds it, and every sale, refund and payment reaches the books exactly once — in five languages, by day and by night.
The work
Each part shares one catalogue, one stock count and one set of books, so a piece sold at the counter is gone from the website a moment later.
Collections priced from the live gold rate, ring sizes, engraving, wishlists, click and collect in a salon, and a checkout that charges exactly the total the client accepted.
Five languages · Light and dark · Tap, PayPal, bank transfer
Orders, returns, stock by salon, transfers, repairs, layaways, trade-ins, the workshop, purchasing, accounting and reports — the whole house on one desk.
Roles and permissions · Two-factor sign-in · Audit trail
Shifts with a counted drawer, split cash and card, gift cards and store credit, refunds with a reason, and receipts that print without leaving the till.
Shift reports · Daily close · Branch profit
A Windows and macOS app for the team, with its own till that keeps selling through an outage and sends every sale once the connection returns.
Offline sales · Barcode scanning · Live catalogue
